About Us
Bear Bottom Lodge is a 4-season vacation rental nestled along the Coulonge River in Mansfield, Quebec. Our modern cottage blends comfort with nature, offering families and couples an unforgettable escape in the heart of the Pontiac Region.
Rooms
Our cottage offers a delightful retreat for two families with two master bedrooms with queen-sized beds, dresser, mirror and fan, plus an additional sleeping area with two double beds, and a pullout couch. The cottage also features a convenient tub and shower, toilet, and vanity. The main floor is an open concept room, complete with a large island providing plenty of seating for meals and gatherings. You'll find all the appliances you need, including a stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker for your morning coffee. The living room is equipped with a large wrap-around deck, whose couch is perfect for cozying up during the winter months, a BBQ, a 60" TV, and a wood-burning fireplace for entertainment and relaxation.

Our 4-season cottage is equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests. With air conditioning, heated floors, a hot tub, and a wood-burning fireplace, this cottage has cozy year-round appeal. Our high-speed internet makes it convenient for remote work, preserving the ability to keep family and kids entertained on their devices. The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities to keep everyone busy. For outdoor fun, guests have access to a canoe and kayaks to explore the river and enjoy the natural beauty. Life jackets are available, bringing your own paddleboard is welcome. The nearby trails offer a splendid opportunity for guests to explore. Chutes Coulonge Park provides a setup with a variety of activities, including climbing, zip-lining, and a spherical water tub. Additionally, guests can explore various nearby courses like the Golf Pontiac, Gale of Coulonge, Hull en Bois Golf, and the Pontiac Golf Course. For skiing and snowboarding, Mont Cascade and Edelweiss Golf Course are nearby. Additionally, guests can explore a variety of restaurants in the area to enhance their stay and experience the local culture.
Rates
Summer
Weekly rate to book directly is $2,500
Only weekly rentals during summer months. Weeks run Sunday to Sunday due to cleaner scheduling.
Fall, Winter & Spring
Weekly rate: $1,500
Rates do not include March Break & Christmas Break — summer rates apply.
Weekend nights: $300/night + $150 cleaning fee
*Rates increase to $350/night starting May 1st.
Booking Terms
—Deposit is $500 to reserve and is non-refundable if cancelled.
—Full payment must be received 2 weeks before booking date to receive access to the property.
